9:05 AM, Bethlehem Checkpoint:  two checkpoints are open. The queues are mostly short and the traffic relatively fast (on this side of the checkpoint). Neither voices nor shouts were heard from the other side of the checkpoint; we weren't informed of any pressure.

The number of passengers increased toward 11:00, probably people on their way to the prayer.

No unusual events noted. The occupation routine "at its best!"
