Afternoon

2:30 till 5:00 pm

Etzion DCL:  when we  arrived at 3:15 pm there were only two cars parked on the parking lot and only one man was waiting for 3 hours (as he said) for Shabak. After we came he was called up.

Little by little another 4 men came , all applying for magnetic cards. The soldiers made them wait. As a result I called Matak (in Hebrew), and all of a sudden soldiers came back. One of them apologized to me.

An elderly gentleman was arriving.. He wanted to ask  for a permit to enter Jerusalem in order to see a certain medical doctor.

.

4:30 pm, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300: from the car  the checkpoint was looking very populated with tourists coming from Bethlehem and Palestinian workers on their way home. It took some time to park the car and to get to the hall which had 4 counters open. Meanwhile the rush-hour was over. Almost nobody dropped in. So we left.
