Afternoon

3:15 pm, Etzion DCL:  many cars in the parking lot. And many people inside the DCL. So the people in the waiting area are not let in -- but
nobody bothers to eplain why. The soldier at the window ignores their cries and ours, pretending not to hear, reading a newspaper, chatting. But eventually a call brings a woman soldier to the window, who opens the turnstiles and explains the situation.

4:15 pm, Bethlehem - Checkpoint 300:  as we arrive, we see that a queue is forming outside, and not moving at all. It turns out that only one booth is operating inside. However, even before we can intervene, a blue policeman comes down, and releases the building pressure by ushering the long queue quickly out of the CP, and within seconds the queue is no more. We are thanked for our help, though in this case help came before we said a word.
