Afternoon

2.00 tilll 4.00 PM

Etzion DCL, 2:50 PM:  on the parking lot stood 6 Palestinian cars, among them a cab.

A young Arab aproached us (with the help of a more mature man, who spoke Hebrew and English ) asking what he can do against a registration in the list of "manu-ah Shabak”.

We gave him Sylvia's telephone number.

Sometimes 2 and sometimes only one soldier were working in the office. The few clients who waited to pass were let in immediately;

Bethlehem– Checkpoint 300:    we wanted to get to the checkpoint at Bethlehem. It turned out that the road passing Efrat was blocked. As a result we had to take the tunnel road. The checkpoint there was overcrowded, and we had to wait almost half an hour.

When we arrived at the Bethlehem check-point  there was a vital ingoing and outgoing trafik of cars.

Those who went to Bethlehem (from Israel) could pass without showing any documents, Those who came from Bethlehem had to show their blue ID cards or an international passports.
