Etzion DCL, 3:15 - 4:15. Few cars in the parking lot, fewer people in the waiting room, which is quiet and air-conditioned. No people pressing
against the turnstiles, no people meeting us with anger or stories of woe.
Apparently, most of the people still there are inside.
We ask for numbers: "20", says one. "15", says another.

Bethelehem - Checkpoint 300, 4:30 pm. As has been the routine for a while now, busses
pour out their human cargo, workers rush to the Checkpoint and pass in no time at
all, with no queuing or disquiet.
