  Etzion DCL, 14:15 PM:

an older man approached us and told us that dozens of soldiers entered his home at 3 o'clock in the morning, frightened the children, walked around his house, and in the end gave him a letter telling him to be at the DCL at 10 a.m. for a meeting with the General Security Service (GSS).  He asks, 'Why didn't they call me on the phone? They know my telephone number!'.  As ordered he came to the DCL this morning, deposited his ID card and began waiting to be called. Since then he has been waiting. Nobody has spoken to him. We phoned officer R., and she promised to find out why he hasn't been admitted to the meeting. We also asked Hannah about this. With the help of both of them, there was finally a notice, that 'the GSS has no time for him' and he has to come next week.

A Palestinian  aged  70, an American citizen who has been living in the US for the last 30 years, told us that he has come to visit his brother aged 87 who is ill and he has to fly back to the US the day after tomorrow. Shlomit called the Humanitarian Department and they directed her to call another center, where they notified her that cases like this are not their mandate. After further telephone calls and with the help of Officer R.  the man was admitted and after a short time, did receive the permit.
