Morning

Translation: Yael Bassis-Student

07:25 – 08:10  Tura(Shaked)

Lively traffic at the checkpoint, people coming and going.

Our friend Ahmad offers to teach us Arabic. Rochale answers him in a fluent Arabic….

We've escorted an herd of sheep.

A Van driver arrives to pick up people from Jenin for a tour in Northern Israel. He had no idea as to where he was. Rochalle gave  him a thorough explanation.

Occupation routine.

08:25 Ya'abed (Dotan) checkpoint

Heavy traffic of cars passing by.  Soldiers arrive at 08:30 and this is when all hell breaks loose. Traffic jams are created and drivers wait for the soldier's hand wave to cross over.

Occasionally a vehicle would be stopped,  the driver gets annoyed and move on.

08:40 Barta'a-Rihan

On our way to Ya'abed, we saw about nine loaded vehicles waiting to drive up for inspection.

The lower car park is filled up.

Passage at the terminal is swift.

Many cabs wait for passengers who come out of the sleeveinfo-icon.

We left.
