'Anata-Shu'afat, Ras Abu Sbitan (Olive Terminal)
Two inspection stations are open. Not many crossing, and the lines are relatively short.
When we entered the checkpoint, we saw one of the soldiers fiddling with his cell phone. When we crossed, he glanced at whatever was going on, but did not check any documents.
The magnometer at the first station continues to beep non-stop for no apparent reason.
The toilets outside are still new, perhaps because they're always locked. Are there toilet seats inside?

The transportation area is bustling.
By and large, a "good" morning. Most of the time, the line in the vehicular crossing was not long. When we arrived, a little short of 8 a.m., two lanes were open and checking was reasonably fast.
The turnstile at the pedestrian crossing (before the checking point) was locked, opening only with a buzzer. The rest of the turnstiles (another 4) were open.
S., from the local committee, tells that this week the Supreme Court will deal with the residents' plea to solve the water problem. The water supply is limited to a few daily hours, sometimes none at all. The problem started this summer, and has not yet been solved.
