Judge: Menachem Lieberman

Investigator: Afif Awida

Defence attorneys: Louai Oka, Firas Sabbah

One case in the docket.

Mussaeb Khaled Ibrahim D'ayoub, ID 853498194

The suspicions are as indicated in the report dated 27.10.14.

Providing service to a hostile organization, recent military activity.

Advocate Firas Sabbah turned to the investigator and said: "The investigation began at Kishon. The detainee has connected himself to the allegations against him. Since the last remand extension, he has been interrogated more than ten times. The interrogations lasted close to 19 hours, as the judge confirmed after reading the reports submitted to him".

The attorney summed up: "The suspect was arrested on 19.9.14. Since then he has been under interrogation by the GSS. The suspect claimed in his previous hearing that until yesterday he had been interrogated daily over a 19-hour period. (As I noted, the judge confirmed the words of the suspect, who was indeed interrogated for 19 hours each day).

The attorney argued that, after the long period of investigation, and after the version that the suspect gave to the police and the security services, and in view of the difficult conditions of the interrogation, "We do not believe that more days are required for the interrogation. If they have made little progress in the investigation during this period, they must conclude their investigations and transfer the case to the military prosecution."

Justice Lieberman summarized the suspect's file, similar to the defence attorney's summing-up. He then argued that despite the grave allegations against the suspect, the time had come for the investigation to end. There is serious evidence against the suspect linking him to activities against the security of the region. Enough evidence exists to transfer the case to the prosecution.

Justice Lieberman extended remand until 5.11.14 at 12:00.
