Our friend the taxi driver called both us asking for help from the soldiers, who were transferring all drivers and their vehicles to the north part of Qalandya. According to him, there were about 100 taxis. The major problem is that the moment a vehicle passes the check point to the north, it cannot return and must continue driving to Ramallah and then back to Jerusalem illegally through side roads, mostly unpaved. When we got to Qalandya there were a few taxis, and people had to walk all the way from E-Ram to Qalandya, if they didn't own a car. The taxi drivers told us about a house demolished by the army in the morning. We took some pictures of a destroyed home and its owner. 9 people lost their home!!! It turned out that the house was demolished during the required minimum of 15 warning days ordered by the Supreme Court.
