Morning

6:40 am, Bethlehem: small number of people outside.  Inside four checking booths open.  Very short lines.  We meet two women from the Ecumenical group.  As we stand and chat on the situation, one receives a call that the last person has entered from the Bethlehem side.  It is 6:57 am.  Excellent.

7:20 am, Al Nashshash:  no one asks for help.

7:20 am, Etzion DCL:  about 75 men waiting for the DCO to open.  At 8:05 am we call to see what the problem is.  No problem.  "It will open shortly".  At 8:15am the people are asked to line up outside in the order in which they arrived, and one of them calls out the list.  When it is done, the commander, N, comes out, tells them the order of receiving help, (women first, etc), that they must be quiet and orderly.  And that they will be called  according to their list.  No numbers are distributed.

8:45 am, Nabi Yunis: no one asks for help.
