Morning

06:30 AM, Bethlehem Checkpoint:  four positions are open. Small groups allowed in and the lines are short and slow. The transients say to us that many people are waiting at the Bethlehem entrance. After quarter of an hour they begin to allow larger groups and the lines lengthen. Passage time is reasonable.

07:15 AM, Al Nashshash:  light vehicle traffic. No pedestrians. No one approaches us, apart from a policeman who stopped by us to ask how we are.

07:45 AM, Etzion DCL:  about 70 people waiting outside in the cold. The door to the hall only opens at 08:05, but people are not allowed in. Only after our intervention at 08:15 are they allowed to enter. First, they let in the only woman waiting in the line.

09:00 AM, Nabi Yunis:  a man who made an appointment with us arrives on time. We are told that yesterday the army blocked the road junction. Today the traffic flows.
