Report from Dahariya During the Corona Crisis: We are sad too.

N. From Dahariya owns a car shop.  He is usually cheerful and empathetic, but today he sounds despondent. There are no prayers in any of the mosques today, Friday, nor on any other day. People hear the Muezzin's call to prayer, and everyone feels increasingly alone. He is worried about what would happen this year during Ramadan.

The streets in Dahariya are empty and only the Palestinian police walk around in the neighborhoods.  People are forbidden to go outside, and the regulations are similar to those in Israel.  There are no soldiers or settlers present in Dahariya, which is in Area A. Only grocery stores and pharmacies are open, from 10:00 to 14:00.

N. says that it is sad there, just as it is in the rest of the world.  For the time being, food is still available.
