Afternoon

Anata:  nothing out of the ordinary.  Average traffic in both directions progressing without impedime

Isawiya:  There is no longer security presence at the exit from Issawiyya to Mount Scopus although the concrete blocks still block the road making it impossible for cars to get through.  Motorcycles, bikes, and strollers could get through between the barriers.  There has been no impediment from the other two exits from Isawiya for some time.

Azariah:  Very busy – probably because it is nearing the end of Ramadan and it was not too hot outside.    Some of the shops seem to have had face lifts, but the neglect of the area considers apace.  One must see the heaps of wrecked cars that line the road to Wadi Nar to appreciate the extent of the depressing situation.

There were no vehicles at work in the area to which the Bedouins from near Kfar Adumim are to be transplanted.
