Morning

10:45 When we arrived 20 people were waiting in the hall. A young man who came out said that 25 people are waiting inside to receive a magnetic card, but the process is slow because there is only one open window. Shortly after an additional window was opened. A man told us his daughter is in Tel Hashomer Hospital and a few days ago had an open-heart surgery. He came to try and get a permit to replace her mother who is with her now. The mother is pregnant and she has more children at home. The father said he was denied entry to Israel by the GSS and is concerned that he has no chance to get a permit at once. We called Hannah B, who advised him to write an application and call her tomorrow morning so that she will try to expedite the process. More people who were denied entry into Israel by GSS approached us, among them a young man who had a working permit (a very precious permit) that was taken away from him at the checkpoint.
