Afternoon

Perhaps we contributed to an upgrading of the occupation, since the rate at which people were serviced during our stay seemed reasonable.

14:15 About 10 vehicles in the parking lot, around 25 people waiting indoors, some more outdoors. Most wanted magnetic cards. We asked a polite soldier to speed up the line, and shortly after this seemed to happen. By the time we left, around 3:30, only 4 people were still waiting to enter.
We were approached by a merchant whose permit had not been renewed, and by a former prisoner (6 years ago) with a current Israeli employer who was denied a permit. We referred them to Sylvia.
