Morning

10:30  Same as last week, the waiting-room maintained a quiet and calm atmosphere. Outside, people approached us, bitter and angry.  A 29-year-old man told us that he was married to his cousin, and they have 3 children with lung complaints, in bad condition. The medicines cost them 6,000 shekels a month. He was forced to work in Israel without a permit, was caught and jailed a few times. Now he is forbidden to enter Israel for 100 years.  In court, the judge did not take into account his circumstances, sent him to prison, and imposed a fine.

A 40-year-old man said that when he was 13 he threw stones, and since then he has been refused a permit by the Security Authorities. He says he is not opposed to the occupation, but is not prepared to ask for forgiveness, "Because forgiveness is only from God.”

Two brothers, both denied permits, said that they had never been in prison and did not know why they were denied.

Another man who was denied a permit said that he had cars that he was using for transport within a refugee camp. The police denied him a permit because he was driving without a license, although he only inside the camp.

An elderly man told us that he drove a friend’s car. He was stopped, and was told that the car was stolen

More people who were denied permits, tired and despairing, complained to us. Once again it turned out that lawyers handling their cases demanded high fees and did nothing..
