Afternoon

Anata was more crowded than usual with a long line of cars waiting to get through to the eastern side of the checkpoint.  It appeared that vehicles coming in to Jerusalem from Anata were progressing faster.

The situation in Isawiya remains the same with unimpeded access to French Hill and the road to Maaleh Adumim, but with barriers to vehicles coming to Mt. Scopus.

Azariah was very busy with traffic a total mess.

There were no changes on the road to Wadi Nar, and Wadi Nar itself was very quiet – world of difference from what it was a few years back.  (Perhaps the situation is different in the early morning).

On our return to Jerusalem, we saw a Palestinian bus stopped for inspection on Mount Scopus – something we have never seen before.  Also, there seems to be more patrols around stopping vehicles.
